Back Scanning

We can Back scan paper documents, microfilm/microfiche and aperture cards and convert the resulting images into online electronic documents.

We can also provide the labor required to index those documents. In many cases, such as aperture cards, we can read the indexing information directly from the media.

We also use a sophisticated Optical Character Recognition engine that we developed to extract indexing information from the image itself. This is especially useful when dealing with microfiche cards that contain index reports.

We also offer a single page TIFF interface that allows you to provide online access to documents without having the expense of indexing each document. Some customers have used this approach and now have every document in the office online, available for viewing and archived electronically for disaster recovery purposes.
